Hey friends,
I want to take a moment to apologize for missing a couple of days here on the blog. Sometimes life gets a little messy, and the last few days have been one of those times.
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, here’s the honest truth: we’ve been working on something pretty exciting behind the scenes. I’ve been setting up a personal AI assistant called OpenClaw (affectionately named Jeri), designed to help me stay organized, manage this blog, and keep up with the daily devotionals we’ve been doing together. It’s been a learning curve, and let’s just say there have been some hiccups along the way — but we’re working through them.
On top of that, my family is in a bit of transition right now. Jacey and our sweet baby girl Anastasia are in Tennessee with her mom for a bit, which has meant a lot of travel and adjustment for all of us. Being away from them has been harder than I expected, and I’m just grateful for the technology that lets us stay connected even when we’re miles apart.
Through all of this, I’ve been reminded of something important: consistency matters, but so does grace. I’m committed to being here regularly with you all, sharing our journey of faith and exploring what it means to walk with Jesus in everyday life. We’re still diving deep into the Fruits of the Spirit, and I’m excited to continue that series with you when I get back to a regular rhythm.
Life is going to have its interruptions and detours — that’s just part of the journey. What matters is that we keep showing up, keep learning, and keep trusting God through it all.
Question for you: What’s something in your life right now that feels interrupted or off-track? How have you found ways to stay grounded in faith during those seasons? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Grace and peace, Christopher
